The Faculty of Health, Science and Technology is now advertising a position as Project Assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. The position is temporary for a period of 6 months, with the extent of 50%. The starting date is 26 January 2026 or as agreed.
You will be part of the research group PriSec (Privacy and Security), which focuses on privacy enhancing technologies and network security, as well as usable security and privacy.
The position is funded by the research project TRUstworthy huMAN-centric artificial intelligence (TRUMAN) within the EU programme Horizon Europe.

As a Project Assistant, you will co-develop and evaluate usable user interfaces for specific use cases. We are seeking an experienced designer with hands-on experience in developing digital experiences and high-fidelity design.
The duties include:
Designing visually appealing and usable user interfaces in line with the project’s use case descriptions Creating wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes to communicate design concepts Developing target group “personas” and user stories to support decision-making in the design process Evaluating and implementing high-fidelity user interfaces for the use cases Assisting in user studies related to the use cases Assisting in the planning, organisation and execution of user studies, including interviews, focus groups and surveys
To contribute to a positive work environment and the development of the department, you are expected to be present on site and participate in daily work and the academic community.
To be eligible for the position, you must hold a Bachelor degree in Informatics or Computer Science, as well as documented experience in UX (User Experience) Design.
Previous experience of research projects is considered a merit.
Great importance is attached to personal qualities such as good collaboration skills, initiative, and the ability to communicate with project partners.
Excellent proficiency in English is required.
Proficiency in Swedish and experience from international employments, projects, and national or international networks are considered as merits.
Temporary employment with a extent of 50%. Starting date no earlier than 26 January 2026, or as agreed. There may be a possibility of extension.
