Alongside of programme development, Karlstad Business School is also investing in the development of research at the department and established a doctoral programme in law in December 2014 with eight specialisations: general law, civil law, financial law, international law, environmental law, public law, procedural law and criminal law. The department is planning to recruit staff in several central legal fields and sub-disciplines, and is now looking for a senior lecturer in central civil law.
